We are currently looking for nurturing, dedicated substitute teachers for our prechool and elementary school.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 12-24 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development completed, with passing grades, at an accredited or approved college or university: and at least 1 year of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
• The units specified shall include courses that cover the general areas of child growth and development, or human growth and development; child, family and community, or child and family; and program/curriculum.
• Satisfactory completion or oral and written interview.
• Clear Child Abuse Index Check.
• Clear Criminal record check.
• Valid California Drivers License.
• Proven good health (TB test and physical)
• CPR and First Aid
• An AA degree or higher
• A Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

• Bachelor’s Degree in education.
• California Teacher Certification in one of the following:
• ·  TC2 - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
• ·  TCMS- Multiple Subject Teaching Credential SB 2042
• ·  TC2P- Multiple Subject Teaching Permit
• Teaching Experience 3-5years preferred.
• Three letters of professional recommendation.
• Review of your most recent “Teacher Candidate Preparedness Survey”.
• Evidence of recent participation in professional development as it relates to teaching.
• Satisfactory completion or oral and written interview.
• LiveScan criminal records clearance review (Federal and State Background Check).
• Tuberculosis Clearance.
