Carden West School is an accredited, nonprofit,  independent, non-sectarian, coeducational, preschool and elementary school for students  two years old through 5th grade. 
Carden West School’s student body is composed of happy, bright and inquisitive students, and 50 faculty and staff.

We provide our students with a quality education by continually focusing on the whole child.  Our highly skilled and dedicated teachers, challenge our students in small class sizes providing individual attention to each child’s emotional, social, and academic knowledge. Carden West teachers know their students intimately.  Our students are challenged through an educational environment that develops his or her optimal intellectual growth.  Carden West students will continually meet each challenge presented to them, through individual support.   A feeling of empowerment and self confidence is created, and a passion for learning is ignited and nurtured. Carden West students become lifelong learners, critical thinkers and problem solvers.  The process of developing high achieving students is through high academic standards in a nurturing and supportive environment. 

The Carden West School Board of Trustees is supportive, the administration is focused and dedicated, and the Parent/Teacher Organization is engaged and helpful. The administration includes, a highly respected Head of School, Ms. Ann Kennedy, a veteran Deputy Director of Operations, Mrs. Kathleen Massie, two Preschool Directors with over 30 years of combined experience, Mrs. Elizabeth Giovanetti and Mrs. Angela Dunn, and the newest addition to the leadership team, Upper School Lead Teacher, Mrs. Jessica Clark. The school office staff is focused on providing exceptional customer service; always available to assist our students, parents, teachers, and visitors.

Carden West School teachers are of the highest caliber. Our teachers are dedicated, focused, and talented individuals who fully support the Carden West School philosophy that every child is challenged every day to meet their individual academic excellence.

Our campus includes a new sports field for our students, new computers in our computer lab, a fully stocked and active Science lab, an abundantly appointed music lab and an inviting library.  
Carden West School has recently implemented a highly competitive admissions process to ensure that all students are given equal and highly focused support.  The Board of Trustees and administration of Carden West School are committed to continue building and strengthening our achievements over the next few years.
